Storage Method

  1. Keep the Bolognese sauce frozen until ready to use.
  2. Move it from the freezer to the chiller (refrigerator) and let it thaw for 24–48 hours.
  3. Once thawed, keep it refrigerated and use within 2 days.
  4. Do not refreeze after thawing.

 

Preparation Method

  1. Make sure the sauce is fully thawed before heating.
  2. Heat the sauce in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it is hot all the way through.
  3. Alternatively, heat it in the microwave in a microwave-safe container, stirring halfway through, until evenly heated.
  4. Serve hot with your favourite pasta, or use as a topping for lasagne, baked potatoes, or other dishes.
